Hello Family,
It is that time of the year when people are most generous. I want to take a moment just to thank you all for your generosity in the lives of those around you. You have been a blessing and without you there is so many people that would not be here today. Some of those people physically would not be here and others in different capacities would not exist if it were not for your love, your care and your kindness. The Pope family is determined to love and is always looking out for others. We seek opportunities to share and enjoy executing in an excellent way. I am thankful to be a part of this loving family.
The family is the fabric of our community, our society, and our church. Family is important and without family part of our true identity is lost, or stripped away from us. Thus, time is of the essence. In this Christmas season, there is a popular Christmas story written by Charles Dickens, the story of Mr Ebenezer Scrooge. There are three ghosts who appear to Scrooge. The three ghosts represent one aspect, namely time. The first ghost is the ghost of Christmas past. The next ghost is the ghost of Christmas present, and then there is the ghost of Christmas future. I think one thing we can learn from this season and from this story is that the time of the past is gone and we can’t get it back. The present is, just as it sounds, a gift from our creator to utilize and enjoy for our utmost good. Moreover, the future is a mystery. The future also is the one thing we can plan for and create new opportunities.
This newsletter provides an opportunity for us all to make the most of the time we have left together. I pray that we would continue to strive for the best for our family and I believe that the future looks bright. Merry Christmas and enjoy the season. Remember Jesus is the reason for the season.
But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law. To redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons. Galatains 4:4-5
